THERAPISTS TEACH 2023

If you and I were to sit down for coffee (and a chocolate croissant) what would you teach me?

beginning February 2023.

My name is Guy Macpherson, PhD.

I’m host of The Trauma Therapist | Podcast and founder of The Trauma Therapist Project.

Several years ago I founded The Trauma Therapist Project and created The Trauma Therapist | Podcast because I wanted to raise the awareness of trauma and help inspire and educate new trauma therapists.

I created my business, The Trauma Therapist Project, because I wanted to work for myself and be able to provide for myself.

This is what I do and I love it.

Creating workshops is a large part of what I do and a major source of my revenue.

In this workshop I will share with you everything I’ve learned over these last several years about creating and selling workshops.

About Guy

Guy Macpherson received his PhD in clinical psychology with a special emphasis on trauma. After graduation Guy worked in a clinic in California which focused on assessing and treating young kids who were showing early signs of psychosis.

While he was working there, Guy founded The Trauma Therapist Project with the goal of raising the awareness of trauma and soon started The Trauma Therapist Podcast to interview incredible people who’ve dedicated their lives to helping those who’ve been impacted by trauma with the hopes of inspiring therapists who wanted to learn about trauma.

Over these past few years Guy’s been able to grow The Trauma Therapist Podcast to one that receives over 200K downloads per month which puts the podcast in the top 0.5% of all podcasts.

The experience of doing the podcast has inspired Guy to place his focus now on the challenging and empowering topic of cultivating authenticity both in the professional and the personal arena.

Guy is the father to two young kiddos with whom he lives in Bend, Oregon.

Guy is no longer practicing therapy and he is not a therapist.

Are you ready to utilize your knowledge, expertise and passion to create a revenue stream? Finally?!

  • If you’re a mental health professional and/or survivor, and you’re passionate about the work you do, my bet is that you know enough to teach me something.

My bet is that you have a unique take or perspective on the work you do and how you do it that many others can find valuable.

If that’s true, this is for you!

  • Yep, I get it.

    I’ve felt that way, too.

I think a lot of people in the mental health space are quite conflicted about charging for anything that isn’t therapy.

The fact of the matter is if you have and value your knowledge and feel that others can benefit from it then it is your duty to share that information.

Putting a price on that information is a fair exchange.

  • Yep, I get it.

    I felt that way, too!

There are things you have to know in order to create an online course. And there are many ways to do it.

I will teach you what I’ve learned and the elements that I use.

Honestly, if I an do it…
