The Quote

The breezes at dawn have secrets to tell you
Don’t go back to sleep!
You must ask for what you really want.
Don’t go back to sleep!
People are going back and forth
Across the doorsill where the two worlds touch,
The door is round and open
Don’t go back to sleep!

What Led to the Specialization of Trauma?

I can’t remember not wanting to be a therapist. Kimber talks about growing up with parents who were firefighters which contributed to her, in a sense, being marinated in trauma.

A Crucial Early Mistake

Kimber shares a story about a hard lesson she learned about the importance of listening.

Kimber’s Why

For me, it’s what’s right. I see so much wrong and so much bad; for me it’s the most amazing honor that someone would share that part of their story with me.
