Empowering The Queer Community with Renae Johnson

After years of running nonprofits and supporting the career growth of junior therapists, Renae is working in therapy practice and supporting the mental health and growth of queer, trans, artists, and others who have complex trauma.

Renae is excited to have launched the Open Space Collective and looks forward to seeing it grow as a hub for their community. They are a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in California (6018), board certified as an Art Therapist (16-199), and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (751603). Renae received their Master’s degree in Art Therapy from Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, New York, and has additional somatic focusing training with the Focusing Institute.
