Defining Sexuality. Or not, with Claudia Johnson

Claudia Johnson, MA, LMFT, CST, ABS, is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, AASECT Certified Sex Therapist, and the Owner and Clinical Director of the PNW Sex Therapy Collective in Seattle.

A thought leader on sexuality, modern relationships, and mental health, her work explores the intersection of sex, identity, power, and psychological well-being. Claudia examines how cultural narratives, social expectations, and systemic inequities influence desire, attachment, burnout, and relational satisfaction, particularly within multicultural, multiracial, and consensually non-monogamous relationships.

In addition to her clinical and research work, she serves as President-Elect of the Washington Association for Marriage and Family Therapy and is completing her PhD in Human Sexuality at the California Institute of Integral Studies.
