In April of 2018, Chris’ parenting article featured in the Huffington Post got the attention of NBC and landed her on the Today Show, where she shared some of her parenting and health journeys.

As an adoptive mom of a child with a history of trauma, who herself became a trauma survivor, Chris continues to be a “recovering idealist” an advocate for self care, creating supportive community and mindful parenting.
